They need this as much as Esther Rantzen needs a decent hair cut. Oscar winning film director Danny Boyle has been brought on board to help direct the opening ceremony for the London 2012 Olympic games. This is a welcomed boost for a project that has been nothing but plagued with PR and political disapproval almost as soon as it was announced. However with the unique creativity of Boyle on their side, the forthcoming sporting event seems to be finally hitting it's stride. It very nearly makes up for that dreadful logo and those scary mascots.
